Dear Sarath I am enjoying your site tremendously! The lyrics bring memories of sweet music, dreams and the beauty of life. I was looking at the lyrics of that masterpiece Sundarathwayen Piri by Milton Mallawarachchi. I usually do this when I remember a song and read the lyrics while the humming the song in my head! I think the lyrics of this song is by Premakirthi De Alwis and the music by Victor Ratnayake. Great job and it gives me pride as a Sri Lankan to say this. I think the lyrics of this is by Premarkirthi De Alwis and music by Victor Ratnayake. |

I can't read singhalese, didn't bother to study it while I was in college as I knew that I would be immigrating to the UK at a ver young age, I can still speak all 3 official languages, not very well but I can get my point through ... LOL. I could make some contributions of singhalese songs written in English, Let me knw if your interested. |
